COVID-19 Procedures

Essentials is thrilled to welcome you back into our salon and we look forward to seeing you.  The entire team at Essentials will do everything we can to make your visit as much like normal as possible.  But we have a new normal now…and we want to try to paint a picture of what you might notice when you arrive for your appointment.  Please read the following guidelines before arriving for your appointment.

• Remain in your vehicle   Text or call your stylist to let him/her know you have arrived and he/she will let you know when to come in.
• Please wear a mask and practice social distancing while in the salon to the best of your ability.  (Your mask may get wet, stained with color or dusted with hair so if you are wearing your favorite because you look adorable or handsome we recommend your mask be a single use disposable mask)  If you do not have a mask that is freshly sanitized please make us aware of this prior to your arrival or entering the salon for your appointment.
• Please sanitize your hands upon entering the salon…we have a area set up for this just inside the door…
• Please reschedule if you have a cough or fever, live with anyone who is sick or quarantined or have traveled outside the country or to a covid hot spot within the last 14 days.

Depending upon mandated and requirements or to maintain everyone’s health you may also be asked to complete a questionnaire regarding your health as well as a temperature check with an infra-red scanner.  

We are following the guidelines of the CDC and OSHA recommendations which are both endorsed why our State Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists and mandated by our Governor.
